Football Manager 2014 nominated for BAFTA Video Games Awards

Football Manager 2014 has been nominated for BAFTA Video Games Awards which is scheduled to be held on March 12, 2014. The 10th British Academy Video Game Awards is an upcoming award ceremony and division for video and pc games in British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

The 10th British Academy Video Game Awards will be held on 12 March 2014 at Tobacco Dock in London. FM14 or Football Manager 2014 fans will be delighted to hear this big news – Sports Interactive (and team FM14) announced this news recently on its official website for Football Manager.

Football Manager 2014 nominated in Best Sports Game category where some top notch games will be competing for this award. It is certainly a big honor for Sports Interactive and makers of Football Manager 2014. BAFTA started recognizing  video games back in 1998 where first time BAFTA Interactive Entertainment Awards ceremony was held for video games and Online Web services for covering entertainment and online world.

Later on BAFTA Video Games Awards and the BAFTA Interactive Awards got separated in 2003 which had given more emphasize and focus on video games and other entertainment content – In 2006 BAFTA Video Games Awards got similar status like British Academy of Film and Television Arts had since its beginning.
