Tizen is a new operating system to be launched soon for Smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs and Vehicle screen devices. Tizen is an open source operating system based on Linux and it is likely to be seen in upcoming months or may in couple of years.

Tizen is being launched under the Umbrella of Linux Foundation and being governed by a technical steering group developed by Intel and Samsung, so big brands are behind Tizen OS which makes this Operating system important in the tech-world. News has been heard that Samsung has some plans to release its first Tizen OS based Smartphone later this year or may be next year due to tough competition in Smartphone market. Samsung has been pretty successful with Android OS Smartphones in order to compete with Apple’s iOS and Microsoft’s Windows Phone, Samsung looks very keen to gain more and more market share in the future.

Android has been pretty awesome for Samsung, may be Tizen OS launching is another step to keep the dominance stronger and alive in the tech and Smartphone market. In future if Nokia brings Android phone or may be BlackBerry adds Android OS to their portfolios along with BlackBerry OS, then Samsung might face tough competition.

Tizen OS

Tizen OS launching and bring up another operating system for Smartphone is a step forward towards the future of Smartphone global market domination. Intel and Samsung both have been known for high quality tech-products and manufacturing brands and meeting up of these two giant brands makes this news of Tizen OS more interesting.

Recently an unstable latest Tizen OS 2.2 beta was released on July 3, 2013. Tizen OS might get huge popularity and attention when Samsung will release its first Tizen OS based Smartphone. Samsung’s this release might boost Tizen OS as Samsung and Android OS combination made Android and Samsung both famous and demanding in the world market.

Android takes more than 51% of the World Smartphones and Samsung might need to increase its world market share among Smartphone manufacturers and it can’t go for Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS or Apple’s iOS, so another independent operating system launching totally makes sense.

It can’t be predicted yet that Samsung will get huge success just like it got with the Android OS based Smartphones but many factors will decide how good and effective Tizen OS will be for Samsung lovers and Smartphone fans who will decide to quit Android Smartphone or prefer Tizen OS based Smartphones over Android Smartphones.
